Routes of 40-60 miles with 2,000-4,000 feet of climbing or more per day are possible. Road conditions can vary but you'll see many stretches with newer pavement and, let's be honest, very few areas of the country give you the epic views this area provides.‍‍‍

You’ll be rewarded with epic views of the Pacific and some great places to stay. If you want to splurge, the restaurant Sierra Mar at Post Ranch Inn is an incredible must-do experience. I took my mom there for here 70th birthday dinner and we drank in the view – it feels as if you are floating 1,000 feet above the ocean.”
