Big Sur, California

The Big Sur area‍‍‍ offers ample options for hiking among the majestic coastal redwoods, to waterfalls and overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Options include the McWay Waterfall Trail, Ewoldsen Trail, and Andrew Molera Loop.

We suggest enjoying the trails in the Spring and Fall as the summer months can get pretty foggy. We don't want you to miss all the amazing views!

The Big Sur area is typically geared for more accomplished cyclists who don't mind some long climbs and rapidly changing elevation gain on most rides. Then again, an E-Bike helps 'flatten‍‍‍' those roads out nicely when you're trying to keep up with your friends or spouse.

Routes of 40-60 miles with 2,000-4,000 feet of climbing or more per day are possible. Road conditions can vary but you'll see many stretches with newer pavement and, let's be honest, very few areas of the country give you the epic views this area provides.

Big Sur is a bounty of sensory delight where rugged coast meets ocean and redwoods rise up from the intersection. The coast is widely considered one of the longest and most scenic stretches of undeveloped coastline in the contiguous United States. Highway 1 runs along the whole coast providing access to the numerous state parks and beaches. One of the most famous bridges in the state, the Bixby Creek Bridge, marks the entrance to this beautiful region.
