Black Sheep Adventures has been operating since 2002. In those 15 years we’ve delivered amazing experiences for thousands of satisfied guests. Much of what we’ve done has been marketed by partners, so you might not know our name. But rest assured, we know how to deliver exceptional service. If we can’t do it well, we don’t offer it.

One size never fits all. Black Sheep Adventures understands that you want your vacation tailored to your needs. We will work with you to achieve your ideal trip. No two trips are the same. Even on a public departure, we ask what it is that you’re looking for prior to the tour. When you are on the trip our guides are trained to use all their senses to pick up what it is you and the group really want. Then we do everything they can with their resources to deliver the best experience for the group and each individual traveler. Some examples include arranging a special dinner for a couple that is celebrating a special anniversary, getting that favorite wine at dinner or detouring to take an extra ride up that epic climb that you’ll remember for years to come.
Our guides come from a range of backgrounds (teachers, former pro cyclists, recovering lawyers) and ages. Our team is probably 5-10 years older than what a lot of other tour companies offer. We find that our typically more experienced team delivers better for you. We hire carefully and train them in the basics to fill in any gaps in knowledge they may have on first aid, bike maintenance, picnic prep and treat them with respect. We encourage them to think on their own, and deliver things in their style within our framework. It’s a formula that works. A happy guide goes the extra mile and makes for a smooth running trip – our guests agree.
All our trips are geared to offer value regardless of the price point. On our private tours, whether you are content with basic inclusions or it’s spare no expense, we want you to tell us what you want. We will trim out what you don’t want and focus on what’s important to you. Whether you want to stay at the best places and don’t care about wine or if the opposite applies, we’ll dial it in to what you want. The net result is pay for what you want and nothing more.
We’re big enough that you can depend on us, but small enough that every client and every trip really matters to us. This allows us to customize more and go to places that are a little off the beaten path.
